The City Government of Ormoc, through the Tatak Ormoc Consumers’ Choice Awards (TOCCA) Organizing Committee, in partnership with the Ormoc City Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ORCHAM), is pleased to inform the public of the 2026 Tatak Ormoc Consumers’ Choice Awards (TOCCA).

The 2026 TOCCA celebrates and recognizes outstanding Ormocanon businesses, products, services, and experiences that have made a mark among consumers. Through a structured process combining Technical Working Group (TWG) validation and public voting, the Awards aim to identify and recognize the businesses and brands that truly represent the people's choice.

QUALIFICATIONS
To participate in the 2026 TOCCA, the business must:
• Be duly registered and in good standing based on the records of the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) and other appropriate regulatory offices; and
• Have been in operation for at least one (1) year at the time of the Awards.

STEP 1: REGISTRATION AND VERIFICATION
Period: August 23 – September 6, 2026

a) Businesses, products, services, places, and other eligible entries shall register under the appropriate TOCCA Award category.
b) The TOCCA Secretariat shall verify the registration details and supporting information to ensure that only qualified and eligible entries proceed to the next stage.

STEP 2: TWG VALIDATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF TOP FIVE (5)
Period: September 9 – 15, 2026

a) The Technical Working Group (TWG) shall conduct the validation, inspection, assessment, or review of all registered and verified entries.
b) The applicable TWG Inspection Criteria and corresponding weights shall be reflected in the Criteria Matrix below.

c) Based on the consolidated TWG scores, the Top Five (5) highest-ranking entries per award category shall be identified.
d) The TWG Validation and Inspection shall account for 40% of the Final Award Score.

STEP 3: PUBLIC VOTING
Period: September 22 – October 6, 2026

a) The identified Top Five (5) finalists in each award category shall proceed to the Public Voting Stage.
b) The public shall vote for their preferred finalist through the official TOCCA Awards voting platform.
c) The Public Voting component shall account for 60% of the Final Award Score.

STEP 4: FINAL SCORE CONSOLIDATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF WINNER
Period: October 7 – 8, 2026

a) The final scores of the Top Five (5) finalists shall be computed and consolidated based on:

TWG Validation and Inspection 40%
Public Voting 60%
FINAL SCORE 100%

b) The finalist with the highest combined Final Score shall be declared the TOCCA Award Winner for the respective award category.

The 2026 Tatak Ormoc Consumers' Choice Awards include 58 categories. Follow these steps to cast your ballot.

Returning voters registered on September 22–23 using OTP and Access Code, you may continue using your existing credentials.
Choose Your Best per Category — a.) Select your preferred registered business from the dropdown for each category. b.) Proof-of-purchase photos are optional and may be reviewed by the awards body for eligibility.
Review Your Summary — Check all your selections before submitting. Use the Back button if you need to change an answer.
Cast Your Votes — Submit each award from the summary page, or click Vote All once all your answers are complete.
